CLASS B COMMERCIAL DRIVER

21st Century Concrete (Canaan, CT) is seeking a Concrete Mixer Driver. Workdays begin and end at the primary worksite at 49 Clayton Road, Canaan, CT 06018. Travel is an integral component of the position, which requires daily deliveries of concrete to various customer sites. Anticipated geographic regions for deliveries include: Columbia County, NY; Dutchess County, NY; Rensselaer County, NY; Berkshire County, MA; and Capitol Planning Region, CT.

Specifically, the successful candidate will:

· Perform NYSDOT and company-required truck pre-trip inspections;

· Safely drive and operate the concrete mixer;

· Interface with customers on job sites to perform concrete delivery;

· Keep the exterior and interior of the truck clean;

· Following all safety standards as per company policies and OSHA regulations.

This position requires at least a High School Diploma/GED. The successful candidate must have one (1) year of experience as a CDL driver. Also requires a Class B Commercial Driver License with air brakes endorsement.

Salary Amount/Range $28 – $32./hour.
