CLASS B COMMERCIAL DRIVER

21st Century Concrete is looking to add to our high quality, production-oriented team at our established concrete plant in Canaan, Ct; We are a 4th generation concrete and material supply company that has been supplying materials to the construction industry for over 60 years.

This is a Concrete Mixer driving position.

Requirements

  • Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement;

  • General truck driving skills - concrete, heavy and off-road experience is a plus;

  • Strong interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, ability to multitask

  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, management, and customers;

  • Specific experience in concrete production is not required - we will train you;

  • The ability to occasionally perform heavy lifting and physical activity in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform NYSDOT and company required truck pre-trip;

  • Safely drive and operate the concrete mixer as needed;

  • Effectively interface with customers on job sites to perform concrete installation;

  • Keep the exterior and interior of the truck clean;

  • Following all safety standards as per company policies and OSHA regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
